नेपालगञ्ज् । केही युवा खाल्डो खन्दै थिए, केही घन्टाअघि मात्र जन्मिएकी नवजात चेलीलाई पुर्न। आमा अर्धचेत अवस्थामा आलो सुत्केरी र सन्तान गुमाउँदाको पीडामा जल्दै थिइन्। बाबु पुर्पुरोमा हात राखेर नियतीलाई धिकार्दै थिए।

अचानक बालिका रोइन्- च्याहाँ-च्यहाँ- च्याहाँ…।सधै शोक र सन्नाटाले भरिने मसानघाट एकाएक अपार खुसीले भरियो। अन्ततः मृतक भनेर अन्तिम संस्कारका लागि मसानघाट पुर्‍याइएकी बालिका बौरिइन्।
